What Is New On Wow Patch 8.3
If you play World of Warcraft, you will be familiar with the latest update called Battle for Azeroth. As part of it’s content release, Legion included many great new battle pets. I’m here to let you know what is coming in patch 8.3. As always remember that this is not a 100% accurate list and may contain some errors. Also, as I’m updating this list online, do leave a comment if you spot any mistakes or have anything to add.
The links below will take you to MMOMinds where you can find out about the pets’ abilities and other information. Some of these new battle pets are from Kul Tiras and Zandalar regions baidu chinese geelykharpalcnbc, so you will need to progress through the BfA content to get them. Some of the new battle pets are only available during certain seasons. The best way to find out is by clicking on each pet’s link and looking at its page on MMOMinds.
When does patch 8.3 come out
Well, currently there is no official date announced. I don’t think we will have to wait too long as it is expected to be out before the end of September 2018. There will probably be a few weeks notice given again like for patch 8.2 and we can expect to see some rumours and updates here over time. But do remember that Blizzard can pull this patch at any time if things are not ready. The new island, Zandalar, is now open for exploration
If you didn’t play through the BfA story after it came out, then now’s a good time to do that. It will take you into this new area and unlock a lot of new things there including some nice battle pets.
Patch 8.3 Battle Pets
So here is the complete list of all 77 pet abilities added with patch 8.3, plus pets that are now tamable and ones that were previously only available as drops now tamedable too. I’ve also included some unconfirmed ones at the bottom of this post which haven’t yet been added to MMOMinds. Abyssal Depths
The Abyssal Depths are accessible via a crack in the ground near Bethor Iceshard in Eastern Plaguelands. The pressure plates there will open up new passages to this mysterious area. You can find out more about it on WoWhead . Sadly, I have not had time to explore it yet. I just collected the data for these pets.
Biology Project
Profession: Engineering Requires Engineering (525) Use: Teaches you how to craft an Abyssal Worm or Abyssal Guardian Battle Pet. Also teaches you the ability Feed Pet, which feeds your pet and increases its happiness. The food created by this ability is affected by your Cooking skill and will provide a bonus to any battle pets that eat it.
Abyssal Guardian
Happiness: Green, 200 Feed Power: 175 Armor: 520 Attack Power: 480 Max Health: 4200 Willpower (Beast Tamer passive) Discipline (Pet Passive) Critical Strike (Critter Passive) Multi-Shot (Pet Ability | 1 rank) – A multi-shot that deals 50% more damage.
Abyssal Worm
Happiness: Green, 200 Feed Power: 190 Armor: 480 Attack Power: 440 Max Health: 4200 Willpower (Beast Tamer passive) Discipline (Pet Passive) Multi-Headed (Pet Ability | 1 rank) – Summon three heads that attack the enemy. Deals 50% more damage. This pet has three times the normal amount of health.
