In a surprise announcement, Rockstar Games announced the forthcoming release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. This collection includes all three games from GTA III to V and will be released on March 26th, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The “grand theft auto: the trilogy — the definitive edition release date” is a game that was released on April 26, 2018. The game includes all three games of the series in one package for PC and consoles.
Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be re-released as Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition in celebration of the game’s 20th anniversary later this month.
This collection will contain updates across the board, such as graphics improvements and contemporary gameplay advancements while still preserving the appearance and feel of the original games.
Later this year, the game will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through the Rockstar Games Launcher. In the first half of 2022, it will also be available for iOS and Android smartphones. It’s worth noting that current digital copies of the classic games will be phased off next week.
Throughout the autumn, Rockstar Games will keep the festivities going in Grand Theft Auto Online, including commemorative apparel and liveries.
